They are specifically designed to support both teachers and students in mastering the basics of French. These resources are tailored for students at the CEFR A1 level, particularly those in KS3, including Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 French learners. What Can Teachers and Students Do with These KS3 French Resources?

Here’s how you can make the most of these beginner French resources:

  1. Catchy Songs for Learning and Revising: The songs cover essential topics such as colours, numbers, months, days, the alphabet, and common greetings. Use these songs to introduce new vocabulary and concepts in a memorable way. Repetition through music helps students retain information more effectively, making it easier for them to recall what they’ve learned.

  2. Worksheets and Lyric Sheets: Accompanying the songs are worksheets and lyric sheets that reinforce learning. Teachers can use these in class for guided practice, homework, or revision sessions. Students can use the worksheets to test their knowledge and solidify their understanding of key concepts.

  3. Regular Updates: To keep the learning experience fresh and exciting, I’ll be adding new songs and resources regularly. This ensures that both teachers and students have access to a growing library of materials that align with the CEFR A1 level and KS3 French curriculum.
