What does this French listening practice post contain?
This post includes an original audio-visual clip with native speaker, including 10 interview style questions on la vie quotidienne, la nourriture, les vetements, as well as les fetes. In addition, you will find a worksheet with 10 comprehension questions, as well as another 4 tasks that students can complete whilst listening or watching the clip. Finally, there is also a transcript that can be shared or used as part of the listening process to check any misunderstandings, ensure answers are correct, as well as improve vocabulary by stealing useful sentences and structures!
The content of the video on daily life and festivals includes references to present, past and future time frames, as well as information about the native French speaker, Enrika’s, habits.

INTRODUCTION: In this video, there is a short introduction from Sabina (me). I am an experienced and qualified secondary French teacher and private French tutor with excellent results. I give a brief summary of the video content and suggest some useful activities which French students can do whilst listening to/watching the audio clip. Definitely try and do some of those activities whilst listening to improve.
MAIN CLIP: Includes Enrika answering ten questions on the topic of her habits, life style and festivals:

2. Qu’est-ce que tu portes normalement le week-end?
3. Parle-moi d’une journée typique pour toi.

7. Que fais-tu normalement pour fêter Noël?
8. Comment vas-tu fêter ton prochain anniversaire?
9. Parle-moi d’une occasion spéciale que tu as fêté en famille récemment.
10. Est-il important d’avoir une fête nationale, comme le 14 juillet?
This video provides a useful opportunity to learn more about the topics of habits, lifestyle and festivals. Mainly through focused listening practice for CEFR A2/B1 students and French GCSE/iGCSE students.
